Thursday Nerd Out: Thursday Three — Bookish Beliefs I Hold to My Core

Every reader has their own set of unshakable truths, the little convictions we carry around like a secret decoder ring for the universe. Here are mine.

1. There will always be both too many and not enough books to read.
My TBR is an ever-growing hydra. I slay one title and three more appear, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

2. Reading is a vacation. Armchair travel is real.
If I can’t afford a flight to Istanbul or a walk through a medieval monastery, a book will get me there just fine. Cheaper, cozier, and with better snacks.

3. Stories change us in tiny ways we don’t notice until later.
A sentence here, a character’s choice there, a line you didn’t even realize got under your skin… months later it blooms into some new way of seeing the world. Books sneak in like that.

Those are the three that sit closest to my heart. What about you? What’s one bookish belief you’d defend with your life?
